On being fake

I do not understand why people are fake. It is just so much easier being yourself. Why be like someone else? Society is like someone else. No one lives their own values. Their values are the values of whoever they are with at the time or whoever speaks the loudest.

Some's values of those on TV, such as soaps. You are what you take in. Garbage in, garbage out. Must be why morals at a low. They do it, so it's ok for me to do it. It's the in thing.

Sad, sad, sad.

I did a search on being fake. There are so many websites to give you instructions on how to be fake. Whether it's personality, values, or physical.

Then I changed the terms to why are people fake. You have wikipedia, wikianswers, blogs, yahoo answers. No one gives a legitimate reason. Why would we all want to be alike when we were born to be individual, unique.

WikiAnswers answer:

It could be because they are insecure of themselves. Some people don't like who they are, so they pretend to be someone who their not. Its not always intentional, if they are having a rough time at home, then they may want to imagine being someone else. its not always a bad thing, sometimes it can help you get back on your feet if your feeling helpless. But its always best to just be yourself.

Someone wrote a song about it:

TLC Lyrics "Case Of The Fake People" Urban Dictionary:

1. fake people

A fake person is someone who is not genuine and will do whatever it takes to make themself look good. They will take credit for other's work or down play the good of others to illuminate oneself.
Fake people take part in hipocrisy, lies, and will turn on friendship the moment it no longer is a benefit for them. They will change thier personality to fit in to a certain group.

Yahoo Answers:

How many people understand what being FAKE means?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker
Being real does not have to be advertised. It shines like a light...except, maybe to the fakes. It is definitely an admirable quality. Today's society is filled with liars, cheaters, fakes and flakes...and that's just for starters. To me someone who is real is someone who can be trusted. That in itself puts one in an elite class.

Berkeley City Council Condemns Our Soldiers

You may not be aware of the situation in Berkeley, California. The mainstream media has not been reporting on it. Here is the situation. The Berkeley City Council has told the Marine Recruiting Office to get out of Berkeley.

Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina has put together a video that shows you explicitly what the City Council members of Berkeley said about our Marines and the effort to force the recruiters to leave the city. They include comments from the Mayor who says that the Marines "don't belong here in Berkeley."

These people aren't just against the war, they are against our soldiers who are fighting and dying in that war.

The video also includes rebuttal by veterans of this nation who are outraged by the conduct of this city council. I hope you will send the letter and forward it to friends and family. The letters will go straight to the Mayor and City Council members.

Click here to watch the video.

Read the letter from Debbie Lee, whose son was killed in action.

Read the statement from U.S. Senators DeMint, Cornyn, Vitter, Coburn, Inhofe, and Chambliss.

What happens at Gilroy High when Johnny decides he prefers to shower with the girls?

The Gilroy Dispatch - Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

A new state law (SR777) requiring California public schools to, among other things, allow students to "choose their own gender" when deciding whether to use the boys or girls restroom and locker room is just another glaring example of the cultural assault taking place in America.

This latest step of  "political correctness" is, to use an analogy, just another sad, sick example of the tick on the flea on the tail of the dog wagging the entire dog whenever the tick wishes.

So, how is Gilroy High School going to handle it when "Johnny" decides that he is really a "she" entrapped in a male body, and has the lawful right to use the girls' showers - especially when the girls are present? Will any sane girl who refuses to shower with Johnny there be called a bigot or accused of acting in a discriminatory manner and therefore subject to school discipline?

The bizarreness of this kind of insanity goes on and on, all because of the influence that special interest groups hold over our lawmakers resulting in poor (and downright crazy) legislation that is out of touch and unrepresentative of the values of the majority of American people. I think it's time for another American Revolution to kick the bums out that sponsor and push this distorted garbage upon us and our children.

Homosexuals Squelch Facts About MRSA Outbreak, Conservatives Say

By Pete Winn
CNSNews.com Senior Staff Writer
January 28, 2008

(CNSNews.com) - Conservative groups say the truth about a new "multi-drug resistant microbe" prevalent among homosexual men is not being presented to the public because of political correctness.

Almost two weeks ago, researchers announced they have isolated a new form of MRSA, or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, an infection that is spreading through San Francisco's homosexual community and could spread to the general community.

"These multi-drug resistant infections often affect gay men at body sites in which skin-to-skin contact occurs during sexual activities," said Binh Diep, the University of California-San Francisco scientist who led the team that made the finding. Continue

An Outbreak of Political Correctness

Family Research Council

Researchers at the University of California San Francisco and spokesmen for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are scrambling to explain away the findings of a recent medical journal article on a drug-resistant strain of bacteria known as MRSA. Why? Because, as The New York Times put it, "the study found that gay men in San Francisco were about 13 times more likely to be infected than other people in the city."

When commentators pointed out the obvious implication--that men would be healthier if they abstain altogether from sex with other men--the damage control began. It's true that, unlike HIV, MRSA can be spread through casual contact. And while the bacteria's harmful effects are dire (including a reported 19,000 deaths in 2005), the good news is that the key to prevention is simply frequent washing with soap and water. Nevertheless, it appears that specific homosexual sex acts, and having multiple sexual partners, significantly increase the risk of transmission.

Researchers said the coverage caught them off guard because "we were looking at this from a scientific point of view." Unfortunately, homosexual activists are more likely to view the study through the lens of political correctness, which could blind them to the level of inherent risk of certain behaviors with serious implications for them and the community at large.

Times Slimes U.S. Veterans with Dubious Crime Stats

The Times relies on dubious statistics about U.S. soldiers returning home and committing crimes to link the Vietnam War with Iraq.

"Across America, Deadly Echoes of Foreign Battles" overlaid the template of the "troubled Vietnam Veteran" (who came home irrevocably damaged, a victim of post-traumatic stress disorder) onto soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. But the Times also leaned on an outdated, exaggerated study to make an ideological point about the horrors of war, while relying on shaky statistics to link the historically unpopular Vietnam War with Iraq.

In the first in a series, "War Torn -- Casualties on the Home Front," the Times' Deborah Sontag and Lizette Alvarez did some dubious research, without context or reference to the larger population, and unearthed a grand total of 121 cases in which veterans were charged with a killing after coming home from war, claiming that "In many cases, combat trauma and the stress of deployment appeared to play a role."

Gay Rights Chief Held Over Child Porn

Jan 14 2008 By Jack Mathieson

Exclusive

A LEADING campaigner for gay rights is in jail awaiting trial on a child porn charge.

Jamie Rennie, 37, who has worked with Big Brother star John Loughton, has been charged over indecent images of a child.

He is also charged with sending an offensive message.

Rennie, the chief executive of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Youth Scotland, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month.

He went to the High Court last week to challenge the decision to remand him in custody but was sent back to jail.

Rennie is accused of "taking, or permitting to be taken, or making an indecent photograph or pseudo-photograph of a child". He is further charged with "sending a message or other matter that is grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character".

He could face jail if convicted.

A spokesman for the Crown Office said Rennie first appeared in court on December 17 and was committed for trial on December 24.

Rennie, of Edinburgh, heads the national organisation for Scotland's young lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

He has sat alongside John on committees and forums on youth issues. John is now starring on E4's Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack.

Rennie studied physics at Heriot-Watt University, where he was president of the students' association, then trained as a teacher. He has been involved with a number of youth and gay rights groups.

As a younger man, Rennie directed a play which was shown to Edinburgh teenagers as part of a campaign to stop anti-gay bullying.

And as manager of the Stonewall Youth Project, he supported gay, lesbian and bisexual schoolkids who faced bullying and abuse from classmates.

He said at the time: "Hundreds of young people contact us every year because of bullying. It ranges from an atmosphere where names are called right up to people getting a severe kicking."

In another interview, he said: "We have had situations where young people had to get taxis from home to school and back again because they do not feel safe.

"They were getting beaten up by their classmates, suffering constant ribbing and being held apart from the rest of their peer group."

Rennie has worked to keep young gay people away from drink and drugs, and backed moves to build bridges between the gay community and police.

He has also given evidence to the Scottish Parliament's equal opportunities committee.

Lothian and Borders Police confirmed yesterday: "A 37-year-old has appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court in connection with a number of offences."

John, 20, is known as the BFG - Big Friendly Ginger.

He is chairman of the Scottish Youth Parliament, and one of the early favourites to win the latest Big Brother contest.

One of John's aims is to show that politics can be fun, and a number of MSPs are backing him.

Schools minister Maureen Watt said: "I hope John's commitment and enthusiasm will demonstrate to the audience how important it is for young people to participate in politics."

Letter to the Editor

Democrats Failure of Black America

Martin Luther King, unknown to most, was a Republican. He believed Black America should strive to achieve the most of each opportunity through a dream of equality.

Most in Black America aligned themselves as Democrats through the social programs of the New Deal created by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, although he appointed a life member of the Ku Klux Klan, Sen. Hugo Black, Democrat of Alabama to the Supreme Court and in 1944, FDR chose as his vice president Harry Truman, who had joined the Ku Klux Klan in Kansas City in 1922. Prior to Roosevelt's New Deal, a majority of Black America had been Republican, thanks in part to President Abraham Lincoln's yeoman efforts to end slavery.

While Black America has been loyal to the Democrat party, Black America has been taken for granted by the Democrat party, using racial divisions and pandering from social dependence of government to maintain the base of Black America without providing any substance in return. Even today, the driving force behind policies like affirmative action is the liberal belief that Black America can't make it in America without assistance from the left. Such government assistance and lowering of educational standards have only weakened Black America. These lower educational standards, such as Ebonics, where English is mixed with slang, only places Black American youths at a disadvantage.

The Republican Party believes in standards of aspiration, provided by education, hard work, and a strong family to teach inner values to their children. The Republican Party is the party of Abraham Lincoln, the first Republican president. Under President Lincoln, the Republican Party was formed as the anti-slavery party, which believed in a color-blind society, where "all people are created equal".

The Democrats? They supported slavery and were the ones turning water hoses and dogs on black protesters in the 1960's. Remember Governor George Wallace? Democrat. Bull Connor? Democrat. United States Attorney General, Robert Kennedy, Democrat, used wiretapping to spy on Martin Luther King. The President of the Senate and current United States Senator, Robert Byrd (Democrat - West Virginia) has commonly used the term "nigger" in the past. He was not only a former member of the Ku Klux Klan, he was a "Grand Kleagle" - an official recruiter who signed members for $10 a head. He joined because it "offered excitement" and because the Klan was an effective force in "promoting American values."

Although he no longer claims to be a Klan member, this Democrat leader filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act for more than 14 hours. He has also opposed the nomination of the United States Supreme Court's only two black justices, liberal Thurgood Marshall and conservative Clarence Thomas. During the vote of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, 82 percent of Republicans in the Senate voted for it while only 64 percent of Democrats supported it.

As recently as the 1980s, Sen. Ernest Hollings, Democrat of South Carolina, publicly referred to blacks as "darkies" and Hispanics as "wetbacks" without suffering any punishment from his party.

In 1983, Republican President Ronald Reagan signed into law "Martin Luther King Day" as a national holiday. However in 1985, then Governor Bill Clinton, Democrat, signed Act 985 into law making the birth dates of Martin Luther King and Robert E. Lee, the general who led the Confederate Army, state holidays on the same day in Arkansas.

For 12 years, Governor Clinton did nothing to remove the Confederate symbol in the state flag nor did he make any attempt to repeal a law that designated "Confederate Flag Day" as the Saturday immediately proceeding Easter each year. President Clinton has been hailed as "America's first black president" and seen favorably in Black America; but what has he done for Black America? On May 5, 1993, he praised ex-Arkansas Senator J. William Fulbright, as "my mentor" as he gave the nation's highest civilian award - The Presidential Medal of Freedom- to a man who spent the vast majority of his public career and life as a proud segregationist, who voted against the 1964 and 1965 Civil Rights Act.

Republican President George W. Bush has appointed more black Americans to higher positions than any other American president. If President Bush were a Democrat, many, if not most in Black America would find his record commendable; but since he is a Republican, he gets no credit for the positive initiatives he has undertaken that would benefit Black America including a voucher program for disadvantaged students in predominately black areas who are mired in under performing schools, allowing parents a choice where they can send their children to school. However, this program has been blocked by Democrats.

If anyone in Black America votes or run for office as a Republican, they are immediately characterized as a traitor by the Democrat Party, often slandering and using fear tactics to hold on to a base they have taken for granted.

In 2006, Ken Blackwell and Lynn Swann each ran for governor in Ohio and Pennsylvania respectively, while Michael Steele ran for the senate in Maryland. Each faced racism as Oreo cookies were thrown at them, portraying them as black on the outside; but white inside.

While there are racist on the right and the left, according to a study at Yale, white Republicans were more likely to vote for a Republican candidate who is black while white Democrats were less likely to vote for black Democrat candidate.

Does the Democrat Party take advantage of those in Black America? Is it good for Black America to be represented mainly by one political party? Black America can not gain political leverage if the Democrat Party is not forced to compete. The traditional solutions of the Democrat Party have not truly served Black America. It is time for Black America to believe they can do better and achieve the dream envisioned by Martin Luther King.

Flesh-Eating Bacteria Striking Gay Men

Disease spread primarily through anal intercourse

By Matthew Cullinan Hoffman

SAN FRANCISCO, January 15, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A new medical study appearing in the Annals of American Medicine shows that homosexuals are spreading a new, highly-infectious and extremely dangerous bacteria amongst themselves, most probably through anal intercourse.

The bacterium, called MRSA USA300, is impervious to front-line antibiotics and can only be treated with rarer drugs, primarily Vancomycin. Researchers say that the bug, which is a type of staphylococcus, is primed to develop immunity to that drug as well.

Infected patients may have inflammation, abscesses, and tissue loss in the affected areas. Although the bacterium does not literally "eat" the body, it manufactures toxins that can cause "necrosis" - the death of surrounding tissue.

The study's authors note that the strong link between unhealthy behavior, particularly among homosexuals, is the driving force behind the disease. "Spread of the USA300 clone among men who have sex with men is associated with high-risk behaviors, including use of methamphetamine and other illicit drugs, sex with multiple partners, participation in a group sex party, use of the internet for sexual contacts, skin-abrading sex, and history of sexually transmitted infections," the authors write.

MRC Action Team Call to Action

How obsessed are morning news programs with the Democrats andtheir race for the White House? You decide.

On Monday NBC's "The Today Show" devoted nearly seven minutesto the fight between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and just33 seconds to the GOP race--the day before a critical primary for Republicans in Michigan!

Did we mention that the Democrats aren't even competing in the Michigan primary because the state violated their Party rules?Even worse, "Today" spent almost eight minutes on the Detroit Auto Show in Michigan! That's nearly 16 times more news coverageabout new cars than about the Republican nomination for President of the United States.

Perhaps we shouldn't be surprised. You'll recall in our last update, MRC analysts spotlighted a disturbingly similar pattern duringthe Iowa Caucus where ABC's "Good Morning America" devoted 15 minutes to the Democratic Race and a scant 31 second blip to the Republicans! As I've said before, this isn’t by chance.Just a few months ago, the MRC released an exhaustive,seven-month study of network morning programs that clearlyshows twice as much air time is being given to Democratic candidates and a liberal agenda... and it's being done right under our noses! MRC

Democrat or Republican, fair is fair. I will be reporting the news here that you don't see on the biased news stations.
